Our Mission

The mission of the Religious Education Department of the Diocese of Grand Island is to better enable to faith community to participate in the proclamation and advancement of the Gospel Message of Jesus Christ and to share in the nurturing of Christian Faith Formation which reflects the historical, global and futuristic concerns of the Catholic Faith Community through the direction of Religious Education in the Diocese.

I’m inviting you to a Summer Minister’s Workshop. The workshop is titled: “Resistance is Futile: Tips for breaking through in your ministry. ” This is a one day Workshop for catechetical leaders who want to strengthen their Ministry.

The purpose of this one day workshop is to cover the very information, skills and techniques you need in your ministry. We designed this workshop for people who are looking to be more effective in their ministry including those who want to be a more effective DRE.

During the workshop we will cover: Understanding current trends and their implications for your ministry. Families ally or not. How to keep from falling apart. Telling your story - Communication and marketing.
